Over-the-counter whiteners are not able to significantly lighten the teeth, causing unsatisfactory results. Whitening strips fall off and paint- on whiteners are washed away.  Other whitening kits provide a one-size- fits- all, uncomfortable mouth tray, which is bulky and causes the gel to be swallowed instead of held against the teeth. These whiteners may seem affordable in the short term, but they are disposable, costing you hundreds of dollars over time.

Teeth whitening has always been offered professionally, although at a price of $400 - $800. One-hour whitening (light- activated), as seen on TV, costs upwards of $600 + and delivers the identical result compared to what Whitesmiles offers at a fraction of the cost.
